Oh how things change so quickly! Aiden has been fighting ear infections since Thanksgiving and has finally lost the battle. We went to see an ENT yesterday and after 4 rounds of antibiotics, we have scheduled surgery for tubes. The doctor said his eardrums are bulging and to not be surprised if they start oozing this weekend. Monday can't come fast enough! I'm very relieved and hope it makes him feel better. He is such a happy baby, so I can't even imagine how much happier he will be once his ears aren't hurting him. He is thinking very seriously about taking his first step, but just hasn't gotten there yet. He's a master at standing alone, so we're trying to bribe him with toys, bottles, whatever it takes to get him to take that step. Next thing we know, he'll be running all over the place and we'll be telling him to stop running and sit still!
Calvin is growing up way too fast! He is now potty trained and has only had 1 accident at night since coming back from Canada. We are so proud of him!! He has discovered his love for a book called "No, David!", so I broke down and bought it the other day... WAY TOO CUTE! I need to get him on tape reading it so I can show it to him when he's older. Calvin is trying to get over the stomach bug, which I must say didn't go over well with me... not a big fan of the vomit!
Scott has less than 4 months until he is done with law school and he cannot wait! We are packing our bags two days after graduation and going on a cruise. Is it may yet?! He's very fortunate and has a job lined up, so that is a huge relief. He will take the bar at the end of July and will find out his results in October.
I am doing well. I went yesterday to have my bloodwork and chest x-ray and have my annual appointment with my oncologist next week. It still amazes me that it has been over 8 years. Not sure how much longer I'll go see him, but I guess it's better to be safe.
