It has been a while since we blogged, and things are still crazy! We ventured back to Bloomington this weekend to go to the IU-WKU game. We were able to see some friends that we haven't seen since we moved and it was so good to see everyone. The football game was fun, but HOT!! We discovered that Calvin is deathly afraid of Big Red... it was kinda funny, but sad.
Aiden is still eating well. He's trying different fruits and vegetables, and seems to like everything. He's still not sitting, but really likes to be upright. He has been rolling around like crazy and has a blast in the bounce-a-roo at school.
Calvin is growing so much! His vocabulary is increasing every day and has certain phrases that he really likes... "I not like that", "stop it", "what's that noise?" and "what's that man doing?" He is also now telling us that everything scares him and that everyone hurts him.

Time Flies By!!
My does the time fly by! Everyone always said that time goes by super fast once you have kids, and now I'm starting to agree. Aiden will be 5 months on Thursday, and Calvin is growing up way too fast!!!!
Aiden is eating cereal 2-3 times per day and today daycare mentioned trying to start giving him veggies once a day. He is rolling all over the place and loves to sit. He has been pushing with his legs when he's on his belly and getting his bum in the air... hopefully that doesn't mean he'll be crawling soon!! His hair is getting more red every day, and I swear it almost glows in the sun.
Calvin is talking up a storm... about any & everything. His new favorite thing to do is to watch Monsters, Inc. He tells us that "monster mobie scare me", but we tell him that it's funny. He is really into trying the food that we're eating, so that is sometimes good, but often bad. We've learned that he doesn't like hot sauce, but he does like salsa (until he gets a hot part).
We are getting ready to move on Saturday. I'm really excited, as this new house has a fenced-in backyard. This will be really nice, as Calvin can already outrun me. There are a lot of trees, so even at noon the yard is shaded (nice for us pale people).
Scott is working his last week at the firm in downtown Nashville, so hopefully within the next two weeks we'll know where he'll be working once he graduates. School starts back in two weeks, but he will be taking a business course and unfortunately it starts next week. He thought he'd have a full week off to just hang out and do nothing. Poor guy... both of the weeks he had off between jobs, he had something going on.
Oh, and we celebrated our five-year anniversary on August 2. I still can't believe we have been married for five years!!!! Mom watched the boys and we went to The Melting Pot (of course) for dinner. We had so much fun and I ate WAY TOO MUCH!! We also went up to Louisville for a friend's son's 1st birthday party. It was nice to see everyone & their kiddies. That night, we went to a surprise party for a friend who recently ended her treatment for breast cancer. She was super surprised and we had a bunch of fun!
Hope all is well with everyone!
